The Chardonnay Les Varrons by Domaine Labet is a French white wine from Jura, aged for 18 months in used barriques. It has a golden yellow garment of great brilliance and releases hints of yellow peach and mango, pineapple, mountain butter and vanilla pod, with intense flavors of broom. At the mouthfeel it is refreshing and energetic and reveals a surprising salinity, in accompaniment to a comfortable and enveloping softness, from the finish of dried fruit.
